My favourite book is:'The Prophet' - I can never forget that book, and I'm never tired/ bored of reading it...every time I read it, I learn new things...
My favourite author is: Obviously, Khalil Gibran...from the past couple of years...dunno in the future....
My favourite poem is: I remember a poem that I read in childhood ' which had the lines - when only one is shining in the sky....after some lines that preceded it...that has stuck in my mind...I do not know what was the context in which the poet wrote those lines...but, I interpreted it as - how we all are totally alone in our eternal journey...no matter what.
My favourite lines are: I love some lines from Dimwit's blogs...they kinda stay with you for a while...I somehow believe he/ she is a soul that has begun evolving...
My favourite song in English: Tears in heaven...(Eric Clapton), It's All about soul...(Billy Joel)
My favourite song in Hindi is: It keeps changing...although I love oldies...
My favourite Malayalam song is: Ambalath poove choll deva leele kando...(forgotten which movie it is from...could do with some help from the mallus on Suls)
My favourite movie is: Bridges of Madison County...I simply can't forget it !!!
My favourite smell is of: Garam masala... hmmmm kinda mistress of spices...
My favourite dish: Gawd, I'm a total foodie... I love trying new food... I recently tried a crunchy roasted cricket...Yummo !!! o.k. now, I don't think you want to know my favourite dish anymore....
My favourite second food is: daal and rice...with some fish fry... it's been ages I've not had this simple food.
My favourite colour is: Maroon...Me being dusky, this color suits me fine. Incidentally, it happens to be my lucky color too...no, I don't wear it to the most important event in my life... But, later on I realise when I was wearing that color a lot of good things has happened to me...despite that I have no presence of mind to wear it every time I want to feel lucky!!! Some people nevaah get it !!!
My favourite second colour: white ...I think it captures all the colors in it...
My favourite friend is: that will be a long list... but, there's one I've been friends with from the time I learnt to walk/ talk...and we still are...our frienship is as old as we are ...inspite of the spontaneous fights we have we've managed to pull through...Gosh, that's a feat indeed!
My favourite past time is: reading...You can never find me sitting idle, I simply can't ...so, I read, anything and everything under the sun....
My favourite dress is: blue jeans and white shirt/ kurti....
My favourite quality in others is: integrity
My favourite quality in myself is: I'm totally dependable....
My favourite mantra is: no matter what happens life goes on...
My favourite hero is: in movies... Clint Eastwood, Denzel Washington. In real life...I don't indulge in it anymore...used to do it until my mid twenties...
My favourite dream is: me travelling around the world alone...
My favourite memory is of the time: of my childhood...our ancestral home, beaches, sun n sand and all the numerous vacations we've had as a family...
My favourite 'Aa-ha' moment is when: every day when I wake up...I realy do thank God for every single day he gives me...
